TradeSmarter
The news that moves your stocks, explained.
Pick the NSE and BSE stocks you care about. TradeSmarter reads Indian financial news, works out which of your stocks each story touches, including stories that never name them, and shows you the chain of reasons.
Made for Swing and positional traders in India, Long-term investors
Why it exists
Keeping up with your stocks means reading far more headlines than matter, and still missing the ones that do. The story that moves a refiner is often about crude oil. The one that moves a bank is a circular from the regulator. Neither names the company, so a keyword alert never fires.
TradeSmarter keeps a map of how Indian listed companies connect to sectors, commodities, regulators and each other, and walks it for every story it reads. When news reaches one of your stocks, you see the path it took, the sources behind it and a link to read the original yourself.
It explains the news and stops there. It does not recommend trades, set targets or connect to a broker, and every link it draws can be checked.
From a headline to your watchlist.
Pick your stocks
Search the Nifty 500 by name, NSE symbol, BSE code or ISIN and add the ones you follow to a watchlist.
The news is read for you
Financial and regulator feeds are checked every five minutes on trading days. Twenty reports of the same event become one story, with a count of sources and how credible they are.
Each story finds its stocks
A story is linked to a stock when it names the company, or when a curated map of sectors, commodities and regulators connects the two. A jump in Brent crude reaches an oil marketer through its refining margins.
You see why
Every card shows whether the link is direct or indirect, the path it took, a short summary and a link to the original article.
What it does
- News that never names your stock
- Keyword alerts miss the stories that matter most. Brent crude to oil refining and marketing to Hindustan Petroleum is a path the map knows, and the card shows it.
- One story, not twenty
- Near-duplicate articles are grouped, so a single RBI decision arrives once, with every source that carried it.
- Summaries that link out
- You get a summary and a link to the publisher, never their full text. Sources that refuse the app's honest user agent are dropped rather than worked around.
- Hindi press included
- Hindi business news is read and linked to stocks through more than a hundred Hindi names for companies and sectors.
- A daily read, in progress
- An analyst step rates each story for direction, size, confidence and time frame, and simple arithmetic adds them into a daily read per stock. It is built and tested, and switched off until it has run on live data.
- Your watchlist stays private
- The analysis sees the headline, the summary and the company, never who you are or what else you follow.
